Our therapists have extensive experience working within the NHS and privately and work in partnership with a small, dedicated team of experienced practitioners.
Karen is an experienced and highly-skilled Speech and Language Therapist with a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and voice therapy.
Karen has worked in the sector for more than 13 years in the management of acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
This includes detailed assessment, patient-centred therapy planning and delivery of a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
Gillian is a highly-specialist speech and language therapist with more than 15 years’ experience of rehabilitating adults suffering from acquired neurological disorders and life-limiting illness.
She has worked in the NHS developing her specialism working with adults with acquired neurological disorders, including acute wards, stroke rehabilitation and long-term community rehabilitation.
This includes working as clinical lead and professional lead speech and language therapist in the community rehabilitation team.
Gillian has also worked in specialised roles with patients receiving treatment in acute respiratory, spinal, burns and intensive care units.
Gillian regularly works alongside case managers for clients undergoing medico-legal proceedings and has acted as an expert witness in personal injury claims.
